“I had the same problem with the Montel blender leaking oil from the bottom of the pitcher. It was all over the base when I finished making my smoothie. Very scary! I’m putting mine away but keeping it just in case there is a recall. I’m going to buy another type of blender. I would definitely advise against purchasing this product!

We purchased this “blender” about 2 years ago & paid over $200.00 for it. I has been leaking from the pitcher & possible the base as well. We called the company to try to get them to send a new one, and they said for us to send them $29.99 for shipping for the base or about $55.00 for shipping for an entire new unit. I feel they should have to pay to replace their broken machine…it has already cost enought money just to get it. I don’t & won’t recommend this product for anyone to purchase.

I purchased this blender in July 2010 - in September 2010 I too noticed the oil leaking dumb me thought it was because it was new and this would pass… it has NOT! In fact it got worse… now it leaks the food that I am actually blending… what a mess! Recently I researched online to see if this is an issue with other customers and to my horror it is!! Anyone thinking about purchasing this blender… thank again! Its simply not worth the money! The time! Nor The Effort! I will never order from an infomercial again!”

IN MY OPINION-WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP-PROMOTED BY A SHAMELESS HUXTER-MONTEL-WHAT THE BUYER IS NOT TOLD IS THAT THOUGH WILLIAMS TOUTS THE HEALTHMASTER AS A HEALTHY DEVICE-IT APPARENTLY HAS BPA IN THE CONTAINER PLASTIC-IF THAT IS NOT BAD ENOUGH-WILLIAMS ENCOURAGES THAT HOT FOODS BE PREPARED IN IT-POTENTIALLY EXPOSING THE USER TO POTENTIAL CARCINOGENS-ON ABOUT THE THIRD USE IF THIS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS PRODUCT-I WAS CRUSHING TOMATOES-ALL OF A SUDDEN THE IMPELLER BLADE SEPARATED FROM THE CONTAINER-THE ENTIRE CONTENTS DUMPED ON THE TOP OF THE MOTOR BASE-WHEN I TRIED TO TURN THE UNIT OFF I GOT A HORRIBLE SHOCK-FIGURING THAT THE IMPELLER HAD  NOT BEEN ATTACHED TIGHTLY ENOUGH I RECONNECTED IT AND TRIED AGAIN-THE SAME THING HAPPENED-THIS TIME I I WAS SMARTER-II PULLED THE PLUG FROM THE WALL-THIS PRODUCT NEEDS TO BE REPORTED TO THE PRODUCT SAFETY COMMISSION-AND BE REMOVED FROM THE MARKET-AT LEAST UNTIL IT CAN BE MADE SAFE ENOUGH FOR CONSUMER USE
